You’ve showed me how to use ozone correctly in my air purifier. Thanks.

I have been looking to buy a purifier, my roommate leaves my room smelling of funk. Thank you!

Well that was awsome. FInnaly a video that explains everything in perfect sence. I just got a Ionic Purifier my friend found in the trash bran new. I think it was a little used i just cleaned it up and works fine.

I have the Ionic breeze with Ozone guard. The Ozone guard grill is a gimmick. It does not cover the whole unit. You can still smell the Ozone a lot. It stinks and smells like bleach. The smell builds up, irritated my sinuous and made me sick after a while. You are better off breathing house dust than Ozone.
Static from your TV attracts more dust than the Ionic breeze does. Avoid the immitations of the Ionic Breeze sold on eBay, they are complete junk.
Stick with HEPA filter air cleaners.

Thanks for your honest feedback

The smell of these electrostatic air purifiers reminds me of looking at a piece of provocative art. Disturbing, yet somewhat attractive. The fragrance knocks me out like an opium cityscape.

Thanks for the explanation!

vatoloco18 March 23, 2008 at 3:57 am

can you message me if a filter emits 80 ozone or bellow is it safe to keep it on all the time

HowToShopOnline April 6, 2008 at 1:58 pm

That low level is safe in a small room. Ozone dissipates pretty fast

hhkoh17 May 5, 2008 at 3:19 pm

ozone helps to remove odors-smoke, formeldehyde fast. the rest are slow. so if you want fast odor removal…use ozone.but for rest of air purifying, use uv, tio2, negative ions

I enjoyed it, though you said “Ozone attaches itself to pollution and you have ozone left over” I think you meant to say that you have Oxygen left over. Good explanation.

markedwr2003 November 29, 2008 at 6:25 pm

Thanks for ending the confusion

markedwr2003 December 10, 2008 at 5:11 pm

You’re welcome.. most people don’t know that air purifiers only clean 2-3 ways

There are 10 technologies out there now

markedwr2003 December 10, 2008 at 5:12 pm

You are correct.. thanks!!!

AliveAir December 21, 2008 at 7:17 pm

Hi – very helpful information,… what would you suggest?

inkey2 December 25, 2008 at 9:35 pm

If ozone does not grab dust….what is it I am seeing on the collector plates? Something else?

HowToShopOnline January 11, 2009 at 2:01 am

The same dust as you see on your TV and your computer. Electrical appliances will attract some dust, ozone does not…

mojoerose March 15, 2009 at 12:17 am

Wow. I’m near the freeway in LA and I’ve been sleeping with an Ionic Breeze Quadra next to my bed for a year thinking I was helping reduce the dust in my room. Sorry lungs :(
