Air Purifier Expert Answers Your Questions

A Brief Introduction on functions of Air Conditioning

With technology making progress at a cracking pace, there is no question of letting the summer season take a toll on you. Install an air con in your room and bask in the soothing ambiance during the hot and humid summer period. An air conditioning system is no longer an opulent purchase but a necessary amenity for us.

Air con is not only installed in the houses but also set up in vehicles to beat down the heat. While driving the car, turn on the air conditioning machine and enjoy the flood of cool air within a minute. It is really a great way to make the suffocating ambiance of your car a very pleasant one. So simple and easy to change the atmosphere and your mood too, is not it?

Have you ever feel interested to know about various components of your air conditioning? Do not feel ashamed if the answer is ‘No’ (most expectedly) as the majority of the air con users will join the chorus. It is not a great sin but you will do better by having a fair knowledge of at least the major air conditioning parts. First of all, you need to know that the underlying working principle of an air conditioning remains the same whether it is placed in your room or car. Every air con be it smaller or larger, is based on the same technique of evaporation and condensation. The cooling system comprises of multiple components such as compressor, condenser, thermostatic expansion valve, refrigerant, evaporator and receiver-drier etc. to cool as well as purify a sultry ambiance.

Of the above-mentioned basic parts, compressor is the heart and soul of your air conditioning. When the cooling system is switched on, pressure begins to build up within the cooling machine. When pressure escalates up to a significantly high level, the compressor gives a push to the refrigerant vapor towards the condenser. The refrigerant gets liquefied and is stored in the receiver-drier. The thermostatic expansion valve absorbs the pressure out of the liquid refrigerant. As a result, it once again turns into vapor while making an entry into the evaporator. At this moment, the cold and low-pressure refrigerant sucks the heat from the air and the cold vapor emits from the evaporator. If you are a native of Guildford, then you can learn a lot about how an air conditioning works from an air conditioning Guildford guide book. In the age of internet, however, you do not need to go through a lot of trouble to find out information on any topic under the sun. So, you can easily gather knowledge about the functioning of an air con from the net.

Now, what if your car air conditioning is not rendering the precise performance? Well, the problem may range from minor to major. The major problems sometimes involve faults of compressor. It is really a headache for the users. A faulty compressor attributes to the reduced efficiency of your air conditioning and rising power bill. Performance of the cooling machine will also get affected if the other parts of the system turn out be defective. An expert advise and guide are imperative to treat the ailment. In most of the cases, repairing is enough to get back the efficient performance but sometimes, replacement becomes imperative.
