Are small home air purifiers safe?
I have asthma live with smokers?
I still live at home, plan to move as soon as I enough money. My problem now is that my parents smoke, they have always done. In addition I have asthma. I grew up with them smoke and I always tried to stay away from her. The only truly safe place is my room, but live in a house on one level and small, so that it moves. My dr. said that an air purifier would be a big help b / c of the smoke is everywhere. Therefore, I expected I some tips that can perhaps help me …
Tell your parents for the love of his life to smoke outside if please. I grew up in a house of smokers with asthma and I do not think my parents and that smoking in the house and I'm sitting Weezing. It is selfish to continue to do so when we know a lot about secondhand smoke. I could have my symptoms disappear as he got older, but not the case that everyone is smoked as a result of the house. Suffice it to say: Enough, if you care at all!

There are "safe" levels of ozone that are to be listed right on your machine. Low levels of ozone seems to refresh a home or room form odors like fish cooking odors and such. I have used an ozone machine for years. I leave it on high output whenever we are not home to clean the odors from the house, then turn it down when I get home.
They give off ozone, that’s the smell. Had one, $400.00, didn’t really notice a difference, at least for the price. Returned unit.
Not all are safe. you are in trouble. Run as fast as you can or get rid of tha damn thing.
i have an ozonator in my house, one that i use to ozonate the water… i don’t really avoid the smell of ozone, i like to take a whiff once in a while. a researcher by the name of bob beck describes ozone in one of his videos on youtube
The weird smell is ozone. Excellent for getting rid of odors, bad for your health. Commercial cleaning companies use ozone for getting smoke smell out of hotel rooms, cars, etc. Do not use ozone to clean your air. Ozone kills live tissue (your lungs)!! Take a look at the Sun Pure SP-20C at http://www.allergy-relief-air-purifier.com/air_purifiers_for_asthma.html. This is the top of the line portable air purifier with features that clean particles, kill mold and viruses and also neutralizes odors and gases like VOC’s and carbon monoxide. You will be hard pressed to find an air purifier with all these features in one package and utilizes a hospital grade HEPA filter, not a 1/4" filter sheet. I hope this helps.
