how can we control air pollution??

Air pollution is a chemical, physical (e.g. particulate matter), or biological agent that modifies the natural characteristics of the atmosphere. The atmosphere is a complex, dynamic natural gaseous system that is essential to support life on planet earth. Stratospheric ozone depletion due to air pollution has long been recognized as a threat to human health as well as to the earth’s ecosystems.

Worldwide air pollution is responsible for large numbers of deaths and cases of respiratory disease. Enforced air quality standards, like the Clean Air Act in the United States, have reduced the presence of some pollutants. While major stationary sources are often identified with air pollution, the greatest source of emissions is actually mobile sources, principally the automobile. Gases such as carbon dioxide, which contribute to global warming, have recently gained recognition as pollutants.

Educating and creating awareness to our people had not helped so long…….even in educated communities……so it is better to create a law…….and i don think it ll too help…….our people are experts in breaking laws…….the only thing is to frighten people that their little little actions will transform the world ugly…….let them know what happens when garbages are unnecessarily burnt…….let the factory owners know that they too live in the same home with the same roof…….the same atmosphere……let the automobile walas know that they had to better use petrol rather than kerosene…..or our experts should try to put their researches in bringing battery vehicles all over the world……and last but not the least…….the best way is maintaining and creating the forests……..love trees…..they can do the great job of bringing out oxygen from carbon-di-oxide…….which no machine can do…….thats it!

May be difficult one to be tried…….but these are my humble suggestions……
