need an air filter for my apartment?
Do i need to buy a new shop vac filter?
i have a new shop vac. My apartment flooded and we used the shop vac to get the water up. The filter was in the Vac. I cleaned the filter with water and am now letting it dry. When it dries will I be able to put it back in the Vac or do i need to go buy a new filter?
Also i tried running it without the filter for dry and it felt like alot of dust was getting into the air. Can you confirm if this is the case?
If the paper filter got wet, it needs to be relpaced. If you ran the vacuum dry without the filter all it did was blow the dirt out the top. If you were using the vacuum to pick up water there should be very little dirt to blow into the air.

Google a company called " Health Moor" and find out about their "Defender". This is truly an awesome machine. I Love mine and they have gotten 100% better since I got mine.
