I have asthma and allergies and had an ionic breeze unit that died – I am looking for an air purifier for a medium sized room – cost is not as important as quality and quiet operation – thanks!

All of my family suffers with allergies, I have heard a lot of good things about the Ionic Breese. Recently someone told me that buying that is a waste of money and the Hepa Filter air purifier is better but they did not say why- before I purchase one, I would like some opinions, which is better Ionic Breeze or a Hepa Filter purifier and WHY?? What air purifiers have you found to be best in dealing with pet odors in the home? We do not have air conditioning so most of our problem is related to stale air. Any suggestions?
I have horrible allergies and need to keep my windows closed most of the time. Also air fresheners will not help because I am pregnant and can’t stand the smell of them. I used them in the past but this is why I am now resorting to buying a high quality air purifier- can’t stand the smell of fresheners and candles.

I have really bad allergies and I live in a dusty area. Do they get rid of the dust too because I hate dusting because I have a lot of surfaces and its super annoying. I’ve been looking at the Ionic Breeze and a Honeywell with a Hepa.

I am looking for an air purifier that will reduce the amount of dust my room accumulates. Not just for the fact that I have a lot of expensive electronics in my room, but also because I seem to always have allergies. I have two white, long haired cats that I adore, but their hair is everywhere! Despite my best efforts to keep the house clean, it’s like it’s in the air. I recently bought an air purifier (ionic pro turbo) thinking it would help and didn’t realize until after I bought it that it does not collect the hair. I suppose it still helps with my allergies, but I also really need something to pull their hair out of the air in my house.

Lint brushes have become my best friend because I cant make it out of the house in black clothes without having white hair on me. Please help!

I am concerned about the hair in the air which gets on my clothes and the clothes of my guests, not so much about the dander. The hair literally flys around in the air and it’s hard for me to catch all of it from vacuuming, etc.

I am fine with my allergies even on Claritin or Allegra, until I go outside. Once I get stopped up, there’s no curing it. It’s hard to sleep, I sneeze constantly once I start, and it’s just misery. I wanted to try and ionic air purifier (ionic breeze), but I looked at this one, and it looks similar. Is it worth my money? Do you think it would even help my symptoms?

are they the same? We have cats and a 2 year old little girl. She has been suffering from some kind of allergies (at least that’s what the doc thinks). She and the cats have been together since she first came home so I’m not really sure that it’s an allergy to cats. She coughs & has clear runny nose often. She is on Zyrtec now for a few more days. If that doesn’t help (which it really hasn’t all that much) then she might have to get allergy testing done. I try to keep up with the cleaning but it’s hard. We have a 100 year old house, not sure if that matters but I threw it in anyway.

Would a purifer or cleaner help? If so which one? I might need 2 but I am confused as to what to buy.
nope. not boarding them for a few wks. not possible. not just the money either. we’d still have cat hair floating around everywhere. that stuff sticks.

My kids and I have bad allergies sometimes the kids get nose bleeds from allergies. I’m thinking about buying an air purifier? I want to make sure that having one is really going to be effective. I also want to know from some of you other allergy sufferers out there, what is the best air purifier to purchase? brand? where to buy? I have researched a little but some of them are very expensive from 0.00 – 0.00. My budget is like 0. So if anyone can help please let me know and I thank you for all your answers. Wish me luck!
