My husband has year round allergy, a friend told us that we should buy AirWaves Ozone UV Whole House IONIC Air Purifier. That will help relieve his allergy problem.

I bought, what looks like, a new ionic air purifier at an estate auction. It did not come with instructions. How do I clean the metal plates inside the machine, that collect the particles out of the air. Thanks for any help

I want to buy an ionic air purifier but i don’t know what brand is better or if it matters. I also want one that is self cleaning or doesn’t use replaceable parts. Is the Sharper Image brand better than other brands? Why or why not. I plan on buying on ebay and don’t want to buy a low quality item because of price, or to pay too much because of the brand. Looking into getting an ionic air purifier at a second hand shop for about and it does work. I’ve heard some mix things about IONIC air purifiers.

Do they even work in cleaning the air at all?

I need to buy a air purifier. But, when I go to website see there has a lot of different kind of it.
Is any one know what is ionic air purifier and what is hepa air purifier.

My suggestion to air improvement is to build giant ionic air purifier that resembles a long pole maybe 1000 ft high by 100ft wide. Erect 4 in each corner and 1 in the center of the city and turn in on so it can attract all the carbon particles that hangs above the city. Then we can compact all the particles into a canister, put it on a rocket and send it on a one way trip to the moon or the sun. I figure an ionic air purifier can purify the air in a room, why not apply the same priciples on a larger scale like to clean the city air. Does this make sense to anybody?

I live in a 1 family house with 2 floors not counting the basement. I have 3 rooms on the top floor. The 3 rooms are right next to each other like a triangle. My dad sometimes smokes in his bathroom, in his room. my room is something like 15×15. My cousin is currently sleeping in my room at the moment, so its 2 of us in the small 15×15 room. So you can imagine how much dust and body oder and the smoke in the small 15×15 room that I sleep in.

I did 2 months of research on air purifiers/cleaners. Alot of people said that Ionic Breeze Purifiers are the best. What I read and what someone told me, is that the ionic air purifier releases negative ions and it contacts the dust, then the dust becomes too heavy and falls down. This is my main concern about buying a Ionic Purifier. If the dust falls down then it will get all over my bed and my shelves and other things in my room. I want to know what is everyone opinions on air purifiers and recommend me one for my 15×15 square feet room.
