What filter inside an air purifier can kill bacteria?

I know air purifier uses UV light to kill bacteria, but the one air purifier I own is B&Y Air purifier is using something like Sterilization Filter. You can check out their technology http://www.byinternational.com/home_office_air_purifiers_BY750.htm

it’s very good tech. no ozone. I only see a few companies have this type of technology

Air purifiers are junk and the advertising is bunk.

Air filters do not kill bacteria, but some might have an ultra-violet light to kill them.

A very fine filter can filter out bacteria.

A really good electrostatic filter can trap bacteria and viruses.

Always get the kind with disposable filters though, because you really don’t want to clean them. Yeeech, especially if they have filtered out bacteria and viruses… Handle with rubber gloves, and a surgeon’s mask. Better yet, get someone else to do it…
