What is the best kind of Air Purifier?
I’m looking to get an air purifier to help with the particles in second hand smoke. What kind is best?
My dad smokes in the house and so does our neighbors. Because I live in a country with a temperate climate, our only source of ventilation is our window and doors, which does not work very well sometimes. I’m worried for the health of my mother as well as siblings and am looking to get an air purifier that will help trap the particles and carcinogens found in second hand smoke. I’ve heard that some kind work better than others, but that there might be side effects and all. So can anyone help me decide what kind is best? I’ve tried to get my dad to stop smoking or to smoke outside but it’s a hard habit to break.
the ionic ones are the best.. if you can leave the windows and doors open, prop a fan in the ones in the rooms that they smoke in… (have the fans pointing out the windows, it will blow alot of it out…)

I have an Ionic Pro and I really like it. But it does not prevent dust accumulation. It seems to have reduced it, but I still have to dust (with a wet cloth, so it doesn’t go back in the air and fall back down again).
I dont use any aerosols as they are full of chemicals I found that if you put some cinnamon oil on pot pourie it last for ages and the smell goes all arround
